Threads getting dumber?

Is it just me or are Threads getting dumber and dumber?

Ie, "do you have a piss jet, or sprinkler?" - what the hell? who cares!!!

Perhaps I'm just a dick but....get a life!

Sometimes I have to ask myself, why am I waisting soooo much time on this sight?

Is it just me? Or are the threads getting lamer?

When you first join a site like this all the threads seem new and novel, after a while the good ones come round the second or third time so they don't seem as interesting as they did the first time, and as a site membership gets larger there isn't the same interaction between the members therefore the incentive to keep interesting threads going isn't on such a personal level, the threads move faster as there are more being made so the interesting ones that need some thought don't tend to move as fast as the ones that just need a one sentence reply.

I don't know... I have been a member for exactly 22 months. I have seen ebbs and flows of threads that are truly engaging and threads that are totally inane... same with the content and participants in the chat room... they come and go... and so do I!... lol.

And then there is the soap opera always going on in the background... flammers, fakers and bans.

I'm sticking around for the meantime... for the excitement of meeting up with new guys on cam and the Galleries, if the Forums aren't holding my attention. But, then, the next day, someone has posted something of interest or worth arguing about.

That's a really good idea! However, smart threads don't seem to go far here, and usually end up filled with opinionated hate...

The problem is that there's no way to keep the stupidity out of them...and nothing inspires hatred like some ignorant mouthbreather dragging down the level of discourse a couple degrees.
