One in 4-5 people in the US have genital herpes (I would guess even more in the swinger crowd), and even if they are totally honest/responsible/informed they can still transmit the virus between outbreaks. Those are pretty bad odds.

Risking your life and the life of your partner, future partners, family, etc just to feel a bit more sensation is pretty stupid.

Yes, I tried Magnums and Lifestyles Large/XL when they were introduced, and also used the They Fit brand when it was first available.
