I'd probably agree on principle, but one time I tried one of those mens room vending machine rubbers and the fucking thing was really tight to get on and hurt like a bitch trying to get off. At 5.5" girth, I'm not a monster, either.

depends what you think 'fit' is?

I am a size 9 shoe (US size 11) so I'll "fit" in a size 6, 7, 8......10, 11, 12 but only one - 9 - will be comfortable.

fitting and fitting comfortably are totally different. The condom that "fits" over my head won't be comfortable fit for my head...

for 20 years I was told one condom size will "fit" every one and one month ago I discovered the actual truth

i think trying another generic size is just a different type of compromise. So feet - if I'm size 9 but I've been wearing 7's all my life, switching to 8's is just another compromise for comfort (albeit hopefully better). I'd recommend cutting to the chase and buying 9's i.e. tailor fit !
