As a gay guy, I've seen quite a lot of dicks and can confirm that statement. I had sex with many guys and the "average" is about 6".
Myself being about 6.6", many of my partners say that I'm above the average...

I do think the published statistics (around 5.1 to 5.4 inches in length, 4.7-4.8 inches of girth) are just a little smaller than reality -- but not by much. I'd guess 6 inches in length and 5 in girth is about average, at least for Americans and Europeans....

Look - I'm gay and have seen hundreds of penises. This nonsense about the average dick size being 5.1 inches is just meant to make guys feel better about their own dicks. I can affirmatively say that the average is definitely over 6 inches and there are quite a few 7, 8 and even 9 inchers out there. These stats that say 7 inches is bigger than 99% of guys are just WRONG. I've probably only seen one or maybe two dicks as small as 5.1 inches in all my years. Curious what your experiences have been.

Ignoring the large scale studies involving thousands of entries (which I suppose yes could still be skewed by false data) and only going by my own experiences...

*My* cock experience would put my average (excluding myself) never any less than 5. Max maybe 8-8½ but purely eyeballing and holding etc.
I'm certainly not a size queen, but it's definitely higher average than the studies mention, in my own experience thus far
