Eugene was kind of hot and nerdy, now he seems like he has a big ego. I notice it happens a lot with gay social media people. They lose their likability when they get successful. Or maybe I just am projecting that?

I don’t know if it’s ego, to me he more so screams desperation

This a cunty thing to say (so no need to quote me asking me why I’m here if I’m just complaining lol

) but he just reeks of desperation

from dipping his toes into any medium he can (acting, voice acting, writing, etc) all at once (while being MIA from his company) feels like he’s just trying anything to see if anything sticks to propel himself forward, to dressing in like big fashion statement pieces seemingly only at events that have publicity that just scream “look at me, please look at me! PLEASE!”

I mean I’m not opposed to high fashion, but it’s comical when he’s like the only one going to such an extreme lol

You’re right about Eugene. His ego has been blatantly obvious for years. As for other lgbtq influencers, it depends on who you’re talking about.
Eugene thinks he’s above the try guys and is clawing at every opportunity to find success outside of the company. It’s just becoming more obvious now because Keith/Zack aren’t as good at working around Eugene’s disconnect/ lack of interest as Ned was.

What's wrong with wanting more and doing everything you can to get it? Sure he's going a little overboard, but Zendaya had to do the same thing when she tried to change her Disney image. She even admitted that she would crash red carpets and made sure she wore things that made her stand out.

Keith is doing the same thing with his band and that off-Broadway show he did. The only difference is that he made a bigger effort/had the time to still be a part of the channel. If Eugene's shooting films or tv shows, he wouldn't be afforded the same flexibility.

Didn’t say anything was wrong , just said that it reeked of desperation. If that’s how he’s going to go about it then no one can really stop him but it comes off as wildly desperate lol

Eugene used to be cute to me but once he came out, everything about him shifted and like you said, he lost his likability with me. I get a bit annoyed when I see him now
