That tip should be fine. The burning is how the plasma pen works. It shoots out a bolt of very high voltage from the tip, like lightening.

If the plasma pen is on high enough you should see a blue arc between the tip of the pen and your skin. This is the very high voltage electricity arcing between the tip and your skin. The high voltage causing the air molecules to break down. Basically this break down is stripping the electrons away from the atoms in the air, allowing electricity to conduct, and forming a plasma. Hence the name plasma pen.

This plasma is obviously very hot and it burns away the skin that you want to remove. There should be no bleeding as the plasma cauterises the skin it burns away.

You do not need to press hard at all with the pen. In fact you shouldn't need to press into the skin, with the sharp tip, at all as it's the hot plasma that does all the work. Maybe you need to turn the pen up?

The only other thing that could cause bleeding is if you burned a hole into a vein.

Basically you burn away the skin that you want gone.

Thank you so much for the info. I probably should start with removing the tag first to see how it works then move onto the cosmetic touch up. I must have burned the vein a bit as u suspected. I was trying to cut off the part it was getting difficult to remove by tying haha.

Oh and I forgot to ask about one more thing. Would u do it while hard or flaccid? My first attempt was done while soft but it was kinda awkward stretching some part of skin to target the area I wanted to work on. So I’m curious how you guys normally go about it.

I mean I would be amazed if you could maintain an erection whilst using the pen from the discomfort and the concentration.

Nevertheless being hard might give you a better perspective on the cosmetic results. I don't think it would be necessary though.

That's the one nice thing about doing it yourself. You can do a bit, let it heal, then see if you want to do more or not.

My experience has been that if you neaten up an area that you think is perfect, once healed, it will look like you need to do a tiny bit more.

Hi guys so I did another tie tonight. Everything was perfect til when I pulled the magic cord too tight. I torn the line haha and now it has no thread out from one side of the tie. I can’t even untie it as it’s tied too deep. Has anyone had this mishaps?? What can I do apart from just leave and wait and see if it still work and cut the frenulum?

Hello, I just got my frenulum “lengthened” at a specialist 2 days ago. And I can tell you right now, You all seem well advanced then the doc I had.

All your dicks look like pornstar dicks!!! All nice and clean…
My dick looks like a dogs breakfast!! The doc went at it half way not wanting to completely remove it…(I didn’t care either, as long as I could pull all the way down with out my head bending) he just lengthened the bridge where I would have preferred starting at the tip under the knob and slowly burn away layers going down my shaft.
I now have that flap attached to the bottom on my knob that Fkn chickens have under their beak

I have a laugh about it otherwise I’ll breakdown ….

Currently bandaged with cream and Vaseline.Looking at all these photos and info posts I’m now just waiting for this ugly Picasso to heal before I start annoying you all with photos of my dick and where to tie knots!! Might have to do about 10!!! And hopefully you’ll all be behind me.
I will seriously need your help!! Please!

I’d actually pay any of you that live in Melbourne to do it for me!!!

I did not know this kind of operation was possible. My dick's head fully retract from the foreskin when hard, but I feel a discomfort at the frenulum and the corona. Sometimes my frenulum get injuried, like a little cut. It hurts a lot when this happens.I thought I would need to go circumcised, but apparently a simple incision on the frenulum would help

I will take every and any kind of help. Looking at your photos your flap was on your sharft/rod? Lol whatever we are calling these days haha.
My flap… if I remember (bandaged and healing) is attached to the knob/gland. But ye I’ve seen others say it’s happened to them and to tie and zap.

Question- on average, roughly how long would it take to correct a short breve?? 2 months with tying and zapping?
