Hi ladies!

I am thinking of getting vascetomy
/ sterilized. We have a good sexlife and we have enough kids ;) . Last years we are using a condom, but it feels much much better without it for both of us.
But a (stupid) question ive been thinking about...

Would you have sex with a sterilized guy without a condom?
Or should/do you always use a condom to protect against venereal disease?
Or dont you use a condom because you do birth control?

Thnx for the reactions!

I and boy are fluid bonded, no condoms required.

I'd only go condomless with an established monogamous relationship. With a partner who understood that I am not joking when I say I would kill them for giving me an STI :imp::)

No condoms for us. He's in tact.

I haven't wanted to avoid pregnancy for at least 7 years now. I know him and trust him enough to know that he's not going to give me STI's.

There's currently zero use for condoms in my home.

What everyone said about a monogamous relationship goes for me as well. I'm the one that's fixed, so it surprised him our first time when I said no condoms. For one thing I'm allergic to latex, and another thing I like skin.

Thnx all!!!

@EllieP , my wife also is allergic to latex and we use Skyn condoms, but indeed its much much better to realy feel the skin ;)

In a monogamous relation or with your man/boyfriend ofcours its imaginable to do it without using a condom.

But if you where single and you want/are going to have sex (one night stand/friend with benefits/ex partner/etc) with a guy that you know for sure he had vasectomy, would u use a condom?

Thnx and already happy newyear!

(Do you have a couple of days off or do you work the days between christmas and newyear?)

Grtz out of the Netherlands!

Casual = condoms

cuz STIs.

Who in their right mind hooks up without protection?

"Looking Clean" is a lie.

ETA: my scumbag senses are tingling ... why is a married man worried about if single women would go bareback with a guy with a vasectomy?

When I was single and in a relationship I was always responsible and had non-latex condoms. I never had a one-night stand or sex with a stranger, so I've always been cautious. That's not to say I've always made him use a condom, but I had to be sure. Before my husband and I had any intimate relations both of us were tested - him three times! He was much more promiscuous than I was.

I was off from Friday to yesterday, but I had to pop into the office today to tie up year end stuff.

Avoiding a pregnancy is way lower on my priority list than avoiding an incurable infection that could cause permanent damage to my body or actually kill me. Casual sex REQUIRES a condom. Unless you're just stupid.

I'm with @MickeyLee , why are you asking about hookups when you're supposed to be asking about your situation with your WIFE?

This gives me vibes. Not particularly good ones.

Oh hell no, I didn't do bare back when I had casual sex + friends with benefits. No no no. I might have trusted those people enough to have sex with them, but to trust my overall health to them? Fuck no.

I haven’t had condom-free sex since 1990. Vasectomy does not mean STI free, only pregnancy free. I survived the AIDS crisis by a miracle - I was not going to take any chances anymore. Ive had one significant relationship since then and only after testing and trust was developed did we go condomless, but once I lost trust, condoms were back in play.

If I was your wife, I think I’d be using them. Sounds like you’re up for play. Don’t forget you can get an STI doing oral.

The one and only partner I shared a fluid bond with? We were supposed to be monogamous. Not so much on his part, apparently. He cheated. Bareback. He is very much an ex for so many reasons. I have health issues now, so even though my partner and I are going on 5 years together as a couple, we still use condoms. If we ever both get sterilized, then we can go to no condoms. I'm not risking a pregnancy.

As a general observation, I think people who cheat are pretty garbage. If stuff isn't working out, part ways. If your relationship is good but you just "need" to fuck other people, get permission to be non-monogamous. Or, y'know, don't be in a monogamous relationship to begin with.

Hi ladies!

Dont worry!
I am monogamous, never cheated and never will. I want to do this for a better sexlife for me, but most for my wife.
Her vagina hurts while using a condom and i dont want that.

It was just a question.
If you would better know my relation with my wife/family, if you know me and my life even a little, your ‘scumbag sense’ would never been tingling.
It was just a question.

But thanks for your reactions!

I’m with Ellie on the latex allergy too! I haven’t found a latex free condom that fit my hubby to his liking either. Regardless we haven’t used a condom in who knows how long.

If it was my hubby or monogamous bf, and he had the ol snip snip I wouldn’t use a condom like the others have said.

My co-worker’s man just had it done and they told him he needs to ejaculate some crazy amount of times before they test to see if it worker. She told him to get busy (solo). I was dying laughing.

These are not the same categories. You have lumped in strangers with friends, for fucks sake. I wouldn't fuck a stranger, but if I did, I don't give a fuck about his vasectomy. He wears a condom. Ex partner? He's an ex for a reason, right? No sex for him. But if there was. He wears a condom! Friend with benefits? Maybe. Is the sex monogamous? Have we been friends for a long time? Have we been tested together and committed either to complete sexual monogamy, or committed to certain sexual acts being exclusive between us, with condoms used for all other acts with other partners? There is a limited, narrow set of parameters within which I will allow for barrier-free sex with one specific partner. As a generalization, however, the answer is no. No, a vasectomy is not a good reason to allow just any partner to forgo a prophylactic barrier. While I trust that this person is not going to pass on viruses or parasites to me intentionally, I do not trust that it is impossible. I'd prefer to mitigate and manage risk.
