What got Douglas into real trouble was a Detroit cop who posed Nude for DoD early in his career. The Chief of Police in Detroit found out about it when a photo of the Cop was left on his desk. The Chief was enraged. The Cop was fired from his job and DoD had his home raided by the Police.
Douglas of Detroit (Doug Juleff) had his career cut short by a brutal police raid
in 1958 that resulted in his imprisonment and the destruction of much of his work,
as well as the harassment of his known models. What was left is comprised of prints
already in circulation at the time of the raid and a limited number of negatives that
had been moved to a friend's home. It is believed by some observers that Doug got rid
of the notes with the names of the models in the negatives to protect them should they
be discovered. As a result, there are more unidentified models in the Douglas of
Detroit collection than just about any other.

The studio operated in the mid to late 1960s and produced a few dozen films targeted to a Gay Audience. Many of the films focused on groups of naked guys having fun in the great outdoors. In this film we see a diverse group of nine guys swimming in a pool, enjoying a hike in the hills, practicing some Calisthenics and a few of them pick up Swords and show us their Fencing skills.! Bob Mizer was not real pleased with the film saying the wrestling was fair but the lighting was poor. Mizer must have realized the actors could not be blamed for the poor lighting so he released the film in 1972.
