VINCE VITALIE models another Posing Pouch for Champion Studios in April 1963. The outline of VINCE"S Meat is visible and I wonder if this could be worn on public beaches in 1963? Champion was known to push the boundaries of the Law to the Limit.

JIM CONRAD holding a Pole for Russ Warner in 1954. Russell S. Warner was born in 1917. Following World War II, Warner, who was a competitive bodybuilder, recognized the popularity of the male physique/fitness world and began photographing his friends.
His early models included Mr. America Jack Thomas and Jack LaLanne, who he photographed in the nude, holding hands, in wrestling poses, and carrying each other aloft. He is credited with inventing the indoor rim lighting technique, which cast models against a black background, with five floodlights surrounding them in order to highlight every area of the body. Bodybuilder and model Dave Draper recalls that Warner would often pause for 20 minutes between shots, allowing his model to find the perfect pose. Though Warner was heterosexual, as were most of his models, he sold nude photographs of them via mail-order to gay customers until 1958. From that point, he continued photographing bodybuilders for magazines for several decades. He died on October 21, 2004 at his home in Escondido, California, at the age of 87.

Jim Conrad is absolutely stunning. I found this at a blog. I had hoped to find a reference to Conrad appearing in a vintage sex film.

Another fellow Hawaii resident, BozB, has sent me some photos of an interesting figure who became something of a legend in Hawaii bodybuilding circles. Born Gennaro De Nuccio in Italy in 1916, his family moved to the USA in 1920. Upon his naturalization as a US Citizen, he took the name Jerome De Nuccio, which appears on his draft card and Screen Actors' Guild membership from 1940. Why SAG? Well, he was a stunt man in the movies and actually did the stunt work for Johnny Weismuller in the Tarzan films. And we thought ultra he-man and Olympic swimmer Weismuller did his own stunts. At some point in the 1940's Jerome did two more name changes. The three nude photos in today's series were done under the name Jim Conrad, and he started doing film work and competitive bodybuilding as Rex Ravelle. Complicated, eh? The nudes are generally attributed to Russ Warner.

I would like to include this information in any more photos I post of JIM CONRAD/REX RAVELLE. VMM is an excellent site and I have found his research to be extremely accurate and useful. Is it okay with you if I include this information?Jim conrad3.jpg

@cambriadude Please do add the blog information. You might want to include all of his names including Gennaro De Nuccio. I hope you find more photos of him in your research because this man is exceptional even by today's ramped up standards. I had hoped I'd find a reference to the possibility that he made private videos for collectors. perhaps he did, but it looks like we'll never know. Will AI ever be so advanced that it could generate one based on his surviving photos?

Maybe some day it will be. My guess is JIM CONRAD/REX RAVELLE felt his roles in Hollywood films was enough and did not want complications from roles in erotic adult films. As far as I know Russ Warner never did short films or adult films and I think JIM only posed for Warner. With JIM/REX having 4 different names that we know about, it makes things more complicated. I am surprised he even posed Nude for Warner considering his stunt work For Hollywood. That was risky for his career.
