JIM ROBERT COLLETTE was from Portland Oregon and was born in 1946. JIM was the youngest of 3 Collette Brothers who all posed for Vintage Physique Photgraphers. JIM had a Devil Tattoo on his upper arm. On California's last primary election day (the same day Senator Robert Kennedy was assassinated) Jim took a trip with a group of hippie friends to the Colorado River. The group returned without him. Three days afterwards he was found floating in the Colorado river, but an autopsy revealed that his death had come from alcohol and drugs. JIM died at age 22.

Bob Carr owned and operated Bob-Co in Los Angeles. Bob Carr's models were sometimes referred to as Car-Men. Carr's earliest work appeared in 1960 in the magazines Physique Pictorial and Vim. By the late-1960s, Bobco ended operations. Several of Carr's nude male photographs were later released by and credited to H.I.S. (Handsome Is Studio.)
