You are right on both counts! It's incredibly pedantic (one of my charming personality traits) and it's probably not a question of grammar so much as word choice. I stand corrected. Just doin' my bit for literacy in America... kinda like Geo W Bush did!

I always found paying for sex to be depressing as hell. The girls were really good-looking but also hard, tough, well-defended. Not girls I would have much interest in had I chatted them up at a bar or party. The sex was good but not great. Which means I probably overpaid. Care to explain this comment? There's no difference really when it comes to sex with a prostitute than any other person who has had sex with several people over a number of years.

As far as being free, nothing is really free and with a prostitute you at least know up front what the cost is whereas with some guy or gal you get involved with the cost might not be shown until the breakup. Rather know up front....although I've never actually been with a professional lady or lad.
