US and only wear boxers. Briefs are for children and old men in my eyes. Tight underwear is too feminine

Wow. Just the opposite, at least with old men. My entire life we all thought boxers were for grandpa. In school, we all wore briefs only

I haven't bought underwear in a dept store since the briefs I wore in high school. Now so much of what they sell is boxer briefs, and I actually see more briefs than boxers.
