For the purposes of the issue raised in this thread, no, there is no important difference. The thread made an absurd presumption that a guy's dick size predicts how much he wishes he was bigger. All you have to do is look around this site. How many guys who are big obsess about being even bigger? Who is doing the pining now?
Guys get their confidence from all different sources. Threads like this are written for reasons I don't quite understand. To any woman with a brain and even a little experience, they seem childish, immature and most of all, so uninformed and ignorant that they radiate unattractiveness. I never suggested those things are always true. I'm suggesting the answer to the original question is obvious. I'm sure some "under average" guys come to this site for the reason you state, and others for other reasons. There are tons of average size guys who still think they're the shiznit and don't spend any effort wishing anything. There are tons of average size guys who are happy with what they have for less egotistical reasons than thinking they're "the shiznit." There are tons of average size guys who wish they were bigger because having a bigger cock is generally understood as a desirable quality in a guy. There are tons of guys, each one with his own unique set of qualities and desires, and people often desire desirable things they don't posses.

It seems simpler than this. All human beings want what we don't have. Those who have a small penis want a big one. Many with a huge penis wish, at some point, that it was smaller. Short men want to be tall, while excessively tall men wish they were shorter. well mate the reason is not what other male think or western creency ect.
