Why top OR bottom?

And the idea that we have creatures so delicate that they can't learn to enjoy a basic skill set with a loved one is at the heart of what's wrong. I refuse to believe a second of this. How about teaching them how to enjoy it on its own merits?

I'm a top because I love working it. Never had any desires to bottom. That's just me....
Bottom here and just how it is! I’ve topped three times and it just didnt do it for me. One time putting the condom on I could not kept it rock hard, but as a bottom I stay rock hard through whole time!

Total bottom. Have never in my life even fantasized about topping someone, the idea is a turn off to me.
Tried it once with a guy I really love because he wanted me to and could not get hard and ended up crying. A near traumatizing experience for my sex life.
I also believe most guys have very strong preferences to one or the other. But I do know true vers guys too, one guy explained it like this to me: for him it's a huge turn on to go into a sexual experience and not knowing who will be doing what. If those patterns are fixed, he gets bored and uninterested.

I personally don't understand someone who is 100% either way - you're missing out on the full experience! Though I think most have a preference. I would say I'm 90/10 top/bottom, so would call myself vers top. I do realise that some guys just don't find bottoming pleasurable but I don't really understand why someone would not like topping - it's going to feel good physically, so I assume it's a psychological thing.

I'm a total bottom, the idea of topping carries no sexual interest with me. I feel as though some of it is tied in with gender. I think that topping and bottoming carry different psychological head spaces that go to the core of your gender and sexuality. I never have to announce that I am a bottom, everyone already seem to know - hence, I think it is exuded similarily to gender presentation.
