I honestly can't remember, but I loved the movie for it. Wil is only a year or 2 older than me, and I had a big crush on him. Obviously, I also loved Stand by me, especially Wil's barefoot scene and the undie scene where he discovers a leech on his dick

He said he didn‘t want to become an actor but his parents pushed him into it at a young age. Has nothing to do with him hating acting all together. And once he was old enough to make his own decisions, he could decide for himself what roles he wanted to do or not.
