As a now-47-y.o. man I've been noticing a decreasing ability to control the length of time before I ejaculate during intercourse. I spoke with a doctor about a year ago and he recommended taking an anti-depressant in low dosage as a common side-effect of these is prolonged time to orgasm. I did so and experienced some improvement, but was never keen on taking these forever as they also have some minor side-effects such as sleeplessness (minor).
I've read that doing kegels may be helpful, but am curious to hear from others who have actual experience with having this problem and then helping/fixing it either through doing kegels, anti-depressants, or any other means. Basically I'm asking "what worked/works for you?". Also, if kegels are the best fix, can you recommend the best technique or point me to a book or website that could be useful?
Thanks - would really appreciate your insights - I REALLY enjoy fucking and don't like it ending sooner rather than later!!
