Your pet peeves

It will come as no surprise to anyone that I have a huge list of grammatical errors and misspellings that set my teeth on edge, but instead of going there, I'll add a couple of things that I believe annoys everyone:

- Telemarketers. Especially those who call even those numbers on the national Do Not Call list.

- People who are apparently stockpiling groceries for WWIII and push their over-laden grocery carts into the express lane even though the sign clearly says 12 Items Or Less Only.

Yeh, the express lane thing is way up there.

One of my less classy moments in life was cussing out a woman in a grocery store for doing that a few years back. :) DON'T MESS WITH ME WHEN I AM TIRED,
HUNGRY, AND IN A RUSH. Haha.

Bitch throws like 40 items up on the express lane conveyor belt, then fumbles for several minutes through her suitcase sized purse to find her credit card after the stuff was rung up. The lane was also "cash/check only" and it was clearly marked. Why is it so hard for some people to follow rules and be courteous to others?

The cashier also got verbally slapped for not telling her to find another checkout line.

Ooooohhh! I LOVE telemarketers! I always make sure they're completely pissed off before I hang up with them! One of my favorite times was when this idiot called at like, 8 PM and I told him to "hold please" 10 minutes later I checked to see if he was still on and he actually was X'D I said "your still on? Damn you're bored!" and then he called me a stupid jerk and hung up. Well that's what he gets for calling me late! As for the express lane thing ugh I absolutely hate that, especially because I work at the grocery store, and then the customers behind them complain to me about it...I'm not supposed to let them through, but anyone who has refused them has been fired at the risk of a complaint. I can't blame the people behind them for complaining though. Common courtesy says you have more than 12 items, you should use the regular register so everyone else can get out as quickly and as easily as possible. I do make exceptions when the store is dead though.

My other pet peeve is when people smoke in the house at my mother's house. It makes everything smell bad and it is very annoying, so I feign a coughing fit until they stop or go outside.

Whining, bratty children in public make me want to slap their parents.

Drunk or otherwise f'ed up people trying to seriously "convince" me of anything.

Locking my keys in the car.

People calling bush a Christian.

Spyware and adware on my computer!

Being lied to by people who know me.

The ungodly amount of time involved in getting fabric cut in ANY fabric store. (This is where I want to be when I die- the land where time stands still.)

People who "fall in love" with anyone stupid enough to go out with them.

Internuts.

I BRAKE FOR TAILGATERS!

People who see their car as ad space for their entire set of religous, political and moral opinions. Clue- if everything you believe in is a bumper sticker, it might be time to re-evaluate your perceptions.

Boiling hot coffee at gas stations and fast food chains- no reason or excuse for it.

Anyone against immigration. (hahahaha, this is my favorite!) Stupid assholes.

People who snap, crackle and pop their chewing gum!

People who chew food with their mouth open and talk with their mouth full.

People who will stop a conversation with me to answer their cell phone. God made voicemail for a reason people.

Being lied to.

People who cannot listen.

People who are not patient with people that English is a second language to.

People that think that because I am considered attractive and/or have a large penis that I am easy.

I don't think you're easy, Kyle. I'll work for it! ;)

I thought it was the other way around. If you were ugly and had a small penis you had to be easy to get any attention.

I'm not that attractive so I would work especially hard. But I really like you best for your way with words. I have to assume you are as attractive as you appear to be. And attractive you do appear to be.

Floridiots thinking they have the right telling others how to drive. People REALLY need to learn how to drive better down here. And when they think they can beep at me or whatever, or roll down their window and tell me how to drive. Like a few weeks ago. I was at Publix, which is a super market, and like, I was trying to get out of the parking lot. Well, this douche of an old lady went a bit too far up when she saw a car about to leave the space. Now, there were 3 cars behind me, and I was behind her. She had no room to back up. So she gets out of her car and tells me to back up, when I clearly can't. I went off on her. It should be illegal for Floridians to give driving tips. I also fully support a law that requires anyone older than 65 to take annual compentancy and driving tests.

Old people shouldn't drive. Period. One of the only south park episodes i've seen is when all the old people run down a ton of people while searching for Country Kitchen Buffet....it was hilarious! I'm gonna try to get my permit this week or next. I just gotta get new glasses. (I sat on my old ones 3 months ago and have been going without them since...I can still see...sorta....)

Yeah and I remember the over 80 yr older Florida drivers in the big caddy and can't even see over the steering wheel to drive...The go like 20 miles per hour...I hope to be that age one day but definitely hope I will have the good sense not to drive...

I guess everyone can make a case for "the drivers are worst in my area". Dealing with old crotchety slow drivers I'm sure can be a pain.

AAA rates the DC region as 2nd worst behind Los Angeles for its highways and congestion. They are way overloaded, and the people are stupid as hell on the road. There are alot of transplants here. The driving customs are apparently different elsewhere. And if people don't know where they are going, in alot of cases, they just come to a dead stop and hold everyone else up.

I've never seen a place where so many people cut over 3 lanes instantly to get to their exit ramp. And a high percentage of them seem to like their bright lights at night.

You've got some dipshit going 85 on your right and passing within inches of your car, and a "soccer mom" going 50 on your left in her Lincoln Navigator fucking around with her cell phone. And another on your ass who could easily pass you if they wanted to go faster. Thank God the Metro exists here.

You can't go more than 3-4 miles in northern Virginia without seeing a cop hiding behind some trees or a barricade. It makes you feel like you are driving in the old Soviet Union at times. WE ARE WATCHING YOU.

I'll take Florida over this anyday driving wise. And I can be warm in March versus the 40 mph winds, 28 degree temps, and snow we had today. :)

Boston is just the same way. It's horrible and if I remember right it was voted worst commute in the country. People here are the rudest drivers sometimes too. They're aggressive to say the least and if your trying to pull out of a sidestreet, they speed up so you can't get out. They hardly stop even if you gun it out of the street - they figure it will be worth thier while because the accident would technically be your fault. Idiots.

Don't worry; by the time you're that age, there will be no more oil.

Or if this planet keeps on it's current track, cars will be run on stupidity. However at that point people will be too stupid to invent that. We're doomed! :p (I'm being facetious again, if anybody couldn't tell :p)
