"You're naked , and there's 80 of us!"....

I can't even keep up with all the posts.

This thread, to quote the great MickeyLee, is a bucket of suck.

The attitudes of the majority of the males posting (males not men.Men would indicate humans, and the ethics of these males is subhuman at best) is akin to a bucket of diarrhea. Diarrhea and donkey cum.

Given that you're apparently accusing males of dehumanizing women in their posts, it seems hypocritical to call me subhuman.

Don't incorrectly apply my words in an attempt to make me seem wrong.

I wasn't stating that as how things are, I was stating it from the point of view of the types of men who would behave in such a manner.

I am more than a little aware of the damage I'm capable of doing.

I'm sorry. Your original post gave the impression of being serious, rather than the sarcastic tone I now realize you intended it to.

it's always nice to be reminded just how many guys are just a couple of beers and the right atmos away from being rapists.
I seem to recll a thread that someone started...Wait! I think it was you Dolfette! Let me check...
Yeah it was the one regarding men with the urge to rape.

We all got to see how, in some mens' eyes, being alone on an island with a gal would give them the right to rape a woman.

I remember ML going toe to toe with some douche on that thread.

Yep, apparently there are people who are a beer, a buddy, or alone with a woman for a time, who will become rapists and then happily tell you that they either aren't really, or it's your fault as you were sexy/drinking with them/or in close proximity, or how they were justified in doing so (see reasons for why it was the ladies fault)

Damn this thread is depressing as hell. :frown:

Obviously raping someone is wrong under any circumstances. Not to mention if I were stranded on a desert island sex would be the last priority since, adding more people to the island (babies) is a completely illogical thing to do. The obvious priority is getting off the island.

*blink* priority and unplanned pregnancy?

what why it's not okay to rape someone?

dude.. ya hole. deep you dig.

Not at all. How is it subhuman of me to point out that the dehumanizing of another individual is wrong? Where as you seem to be saying that its either OK, or the victim was to blame?

If you are not in the group of people I was referring too (I don't recall naming names), then you have no reason to be insulted or upset by it.

You can say that I am off the mark. That I have misinterpreted what you have said. Calling me a hypocrite for calling people who would place blame on a victim a hypocrite would be like calling a person who saying that a pedophile is subhuman scum a hypocrite...if ya see what i am saying.

Somehow this made me think of Rush Limbaugh.
Those guys and he seem to have a similar view on women having sex in college.
Just terrible. And i do think it is very unfortunate that this kind of mindset is so widely spread. Yes in extremes it s a scandal, but how many latent situations that carry the same moral, or lack there of.
Well i just hope this comes up in background checks when those guys apply for jobs.
Would be a ce interview, and please let a camera role.

The bystande effect and the the effects of alcohol are the same across both genders. Given a large crowd of drunk, horny women and a defenceless male in the middle, a similar situation would occur as in the original video.
uh huh. i've heard of some pretty shitty behaviour towards male strippers.

when people express disbelief at how things like the holocaust were allowed to happen, i'm mildly amused. sheeple are always willing to shit on morality, as long as enough of the herd will shit with them. you can always spin a justification if you try hard enough.

on the plus side, there's a reasonably high chance that this clip, clearly showing the faces of several of the arseholes, will find it's way back to their parents. and possibly be seen by future employers.

The unplanned pregnancy was a joke on the stupidity of sex on a deserted island as a possible factor in any decisions. SInce rape is unacceptable under any circumstance there obviously aren't any justifications for the act itself. Exactly Like I mentioned in an earlier post. Most of my posts on blame and responsibility refer to the examples I gave of less obvious cases and to illustrate how blame is rarely black-and white. In fact sexual abuse is one of the few cases where it is black and white. And the blame is clearly entirely on the aggressor.

I'm beginning to wonder if anyone is bothering to read and comprehend my posts in their entirety or whether people are glossing over most of the details.

i was just providing an example of unfairdom, Ms. Petite. a person finding themselves trapped, not from bad choices they made.. but because one had the hand up to abuse them.

is all grief inoculation with victim blaming/shaming. if folks can find away to blame someone for something awful happening to them is easier to believe that bad thing won't ever happen to them.

is like that with most mistakes attached to old ideas of sin.

catch an STI, oh.. you were doing something wrong. you should have known better. i know better, i feel safe. that kinda thing.

women who are raped in dark place.. she should have known better than to be there after sun down. like the big fuck up in that scenario is walking down the wrong block.

in this case.. she had a contact, she thought she knew what she was walking into. she didn't make a bad choice.. she was misled and mistreated. :frown:

Absolutely. That's an incredibly frightening scenario. Not just at all.

Just what I witnessed in the video without knowing all of that was just awful and I can't believe anyone would defend the behavior of those guys by implying that they're to be expected to behave like that which she ought to know so it's her fault, or that she's at fault for choosing that profession.

Unless people are at least capable of acknowledging that the woman in that scenario was being mistreated, that kind of behavior will continue. It's the first step to stopping it. Excuses just maintain the shitty status quo.

Erm...

If the bolded is true, then what the fuck have you been arguing in this thread for fuck knows how many posts now? You've made it clear you blame her for not having left, at least in part.

That would only work if their parents are likely to end up watching that kind of stuff. They probably wouldn't. On the other hand the clip could be given straight to the police who would probably be able to identify some people.

you think there aren't plenty of people out there who would gleefully forward it to them?

My orignal point was that she didn't take the logical course of action and leave the room upon entering and possibly realizing what she was getting into.
However, As I mentioned in later post, once control of the situation is taken away from the victim then they become blameless. In that case she lost control of the situation when the director started the shoot and assumed control.

My basic point was that people should read contracts before they sign them and that in other circumstances which are not so easily defined as sexual abuse then the blame and moral responsibility are more difficult to ascertain.

I will always share your cupcake babe!

Can Petite and Dolf and Redz and the Mod formerly known as Acon have some as well?

Aand La Femme! she should get ta share the ummy cupcake and snuggles too!

i don't roll out unless i roll out with enough cupcakes to share.

Got it now, thank you.

Thought you could post a bunch of assholey shit about women asking for it. Realized you weren't getting any where near enough support and the women here are more than intelligent enough to run rings around you, then remembered you're 99% straight and alienating those you rely on for wank fodder, tried hopelessly to back track, failed, so now happily sit talking in circles because you can't hold your hands up and admit you're wrong!
