what you said may be facts but HE is not BLACK.Wow. Facts > Delusion
Perhaps you don’t understand how ancestry works. I’ll leave it at that.

Yep yep
Yep, what a major glow up he had
That’s not a fact. A number of North Africans consider themselves Black. We do not know his genetic make up. Zed’s lips are talking! He could very well have a large percentage of Sub Saharan DNA.
what you said may be facts but HE is not BLACK.
He is not black. I don't know why people are trying to deny this shit. He is Maghreb/Arab. African doesn't always mean black.
I don't think anyone claimed he couldn't have black ancestry at all. The issue is he doesn't pass as black. When it comes to race (as a social construct) it's all about perception, and he doesn't look Black. Period.Arab is not a race; it’s an ethnolinguistic group. One can be a Black or Afro-Arab. Just like Hispanic isn’t a race. You can be a Black or White Hispanic/Latino. People from Tunisa can be of sub-Saharan decent/Black. You do not know Zed’s parents. I’m not calling him Black per se, but he can have Black ancestry.

"lips"? are not a unique feature to people of African descent? Isn't that a bit racist in and of itself to assume? ffs dude. anyway....His ancestry isn't freaking written on his forehead. It isn't totally irrelevant but it also isn't that relevant either in a social sense.Cleary, you aren’t following the conversation. To look Black and to be Black are not always linked. Zed clearly has some African features (his lips being one, I’d say) Africa is the mostly genetically diverse continent on the planet. I am the last person to call anyone Black (esp in America) just because they have a small percentage of African DNA. I never said Zed was Black. I only said he has Black African ancestry, and shouldn’t be saying the n-word.

When the cops pull him and Ray over, they only see one black man sitting there (and will be likely more prejudiced to him moreso than Zed) We need to operate in functional reality here.
Zed is NOT predominantly European, so he’d be looked at as Black or Brown regardless.

I couldn’t even respond to that foolishness. As if every African had big lips or better yet as if Subsaharan African isn’t one of the phenotypically diverse areas of the planet. I have no idea why that user is trying so hard to make Zed black when he is not. He’s even tried to ODR the dude and now we’re making assessments based on lip thickness? By that same logic Zed’s hair makes him not black. When trying to sound “smart” goes wrong.
Anyway, the US Govt. classifies North Africans, Arabs, Middle Easterners, etc. as WHITE. That’s all that needs to be said. This scamming ass mf Zed gets to slide in and out of blackness like it’s a glove and you got black dudes out here reaching for straws to make and argument as to why this dude might be just a little black.
You clearly have trouble reading!
Full, thick lips are a common trait with people of African decent. Common does not mean all. Nowhere did I say “all”. Next time, quote my direct statement if you argue. All and common are not synonyms.
I’m the one who brought up the genetic diversity of Africa in a previous post, hence the reason you cannot say someone is not Black because they don’t “look it.” You fumbled on that one. Don’t try to make it seem like you out here dropping knowledge when you’re repeating what I said.
And yes, I am Black! Have always been Black. Always will be unapologetically Black, all mf day of my life. My parents are from Nigeria, my dude!
Don’t talk to me about Africa from your American perspective. Just because the US classifies you in a certain way (and you take it as gospel), doesn’t mean that’s how the rest of the world sees it.
Alls I said was Zed possibly has Sub Saharan DNA, given his phenotypes. He’s from Tunisa! Afro-Arabs exist! Phenotypes exist!
You don’t know Zed’s parents. How you perceive him is your business, not his! Zed is clearly not African American, and I never once thought he was, nor am I trying to make him out to be what he’s not!
Next time, come correct with your facts, and stop letting the US government indoctrinate you on race.
Now wtf is the one trying to sound smart. Uncultured ass!

As a non native of the united states, i agree that your perception of race is flawed because you are following race categories based on the united states, which is NOT how the rest of the world sees it. You have a very limited, American perception (based on what u write). We dont see race the same way you guys do in america, and people from other parts of the world don’t see it that way either.
Zed is not from america so you can’t put his race in context of america.
I have been told that i am not black by many black Americans even though i associate mostly with black people. My ancestry is mostly african (im from latin America), but most people just put me in “hispanic” (not a race) category because of my light color and hair. But i do have clear west african features. In my country we have a name for people who look like me, which does not exist in America.
u should listen to people who have a broader perspective who are not from america or whose family is not from america. We don’t see race like u do. no one is arguing that Zed is Black; in fact, he looks like some people in latin america.
Sharing these again:
Zed does bottom. I’d know first hand
He ain’t bad.
