Fucked up shit

This is some fucked up shit that has bugged me for the past couple of days. Last week in my "Untitled" blog I referenced the kidnapping of a 4 year old child by his moms ex-boyfriend. Well a witness reported they saw a car with the same description go into the levee (California's delta system). Police began dredging the levee and pulled out over a dozen cars in the past week before finally pulling out the suspects car, no bodies. However, the boys body was found elsewhere in the levee. I sit here, writing this and I'm sad, pissed off, sorrowful, angry, sympathetic, enraged! What the fuck is in peoples minds to take a childs life? This poor child was cheated out of living! His life was taken from him.... Anything having to do with kids being harmed in any way shape or form, makes this woman wanna bust up every single adult that I personally know, having ever laid a hand upon their child. Fucken shit just makes me ill.

People that harm children should be delt with like they did in biblical times. They should be taken to a gravel pit on the outskirts of town and stoned to death by that childs family!

Murdering an innocent child is the most disturbing, fucked up thing that a human being can do to another. We had a case here where a 4 yo boy wandered away from his home while his mom was napping...his dismembered body was found a week later. At the murderers sentencing hearing, the Judge said that while the death penalty was appropriate...the most fitting punishment was a life sentence in the general population...and let them meter out 'prison justice'. She came under fire for this...but i am 101% on her side.

The problem with that "remedy" is a child who is harmed is almost always harmed by his or her own family.

Well, that certainly adds to the depressing tone of this post.

Its horrific. But........whoever did it may be very, very sick and so needs treatment. Before someone starts throwing brickbats at me, I add that if the guilty person is not sick, and is culpable, then they should be executed. However, unless we know the details of the case, I'd be cautious about prescribing a punishment (or treatment). I do hope that the mother is getting the support she will need. And that the Press stays out of the way.

Last week there was a memorial for the little boy, Juliani Cardenas, and just yesterday I heard there was a body of a man found believed to be the kidnapper/killer. The families are waiting on DNA results.
