I got my lip pierced (again) today. I had it pierced once before, but it never quite healed so I removed it after about 6 months or so. My friend Chris is an apprentice piercist... I showed him where my last lip piercing was, and he thinks the location had something to do with it not healing. It was RIGHT on my lip line, he said that was too close to my lip. So he pierced it for me today, a bit below my lip. Hopefully that'll help. I think it's safe to say that I'm the first woman in the world to be pierced by a 6'5 300+lb man wearing black and white footie pajamas with skulls and crossbones on them. :tongue: I feel special. He made me laugh at one point... he told me to open my mouth wider, so I did... but I guess it wasn't wide enough so he says, "Open it like you want something in it." :biggrin: :wink: He knows me entirely too well!
Hmm... what else is new... not much, really. I got to talk to lemont77 on the phone for a couple hours the other day. He's such an amazingly great person, and we get along so well... I hope I can meet him someday. The conversation flowed so easily, and we never ran out of things to talk about. Gotta love when that happens. :biggrin:
Oh! Chris taught me how to play "Magic, The Gathering" last night. It's fun! I still kinda suck at it, but I at least know the fundamentals of how to play. I still need to learn strategy 'n stuff though. He's going to help me build up my own deck too. I'm looking forward to that. I'm turning into an uber-nerd! First World of Warcraft, and now Magic. :tongue:
My whole household went out of town this past weekend except me. It was kind of nice, but the time went by entirely too fast. I didn't do anything uber exciting, but it was nice to be able to come and go when I want without having to worry about my son or anything. Stay up all night, sleep all day, etcetera.
I guess I lead a boring life, I have nothing else to talk about. lol. *sigh* I hope you all are well. :smile:
