I know a few people here have been sort of "following" my relationship with the new boyfriend, and I haven't given any updates in a while. So here we go!
We're still doing great and still going strong. We've been together just over 5 months now. He just went home today after having been here for two weeks. His temp job hasn't had any work since the holiday season has ended, so instead of sitting at home, he stayed at my place. During the day while I was working, he'd clean or do laundry, he voluntarily cooks (amazing!) and I'm still learning more about him. The more I learn, the more I love. He's somewhat of a jack-of-all-trades. Master of nothing, but he knows a lot about a lot of things. He replaced the stereo in my car, hand-made me a hemp necklace for Valentine's Day, and explained some Shakespeare to me that I didn't understand. He built a desktop for me after I purchased the parts with my income tax returns (holy shit, this thing is a beast - I love it!) and came with me to look at cars so he could check for any problems before I purchased one.
He gets along well with my son, my father, my brother, and all my friends. I've yet to see any red flags. He's a hard worker, mature, and a fuck of a lot of fun to be around. He's my best friend, I can tell him anything. He doesn't judge me, and is intelligent and wise enough to give me good advice when I need it. He's gentle and kind, smart and witty, sexy and understanding, easy to talk to, has a great vocabulary (not sure why I find that so hot, but I do), and I have absolutely zero complaints about him. Seriously none. He's very laid back, goes with the flow, and is confident enough to stand up for himself when necessary (not something I could say about any other guy I've dated).
I could go on for days about what a fascinating and awesome human being he is, but that would probably get pretty boring for you guys. Lol.
