Respectfully disagree. In his prime, his face was quite pretty. I can almost gaurentee that is how he won his initial primary. You know vaginas filled his bubble on their ballot secretly wishing he would fill theirs...

Poor girls. With most politicians, the chances would be remote. In Aaron's case, it was impossible.

Seriously though. His family was not immensely wealthy (though they are certainly not poor), he is not the scion of a legacy political family, he was waaaay to young to have earned his stripes with the local County political parties. He is not a gifted, charismatic orator or clever demogogue. He won the way a man like him could to win a plum Congressional seat. He went door to door, walked in parades and smiled his pearly whites, gave a slutty wink and got the vote of women my guess probably 9-1 for him.
