In the late 80s, I had a bar-bud who looked exactly like Alec, except that he was insanely nelly (and insanely funny, too). He flirted with my then-partner Carlos and me endlessly. Yes! The first time I saw Alec was in "Beetlejuice" when I was a 14. I didn't know who he was but I definetly remember thinking he was sexy even tho he was made to seem a little nerdy in the movie.
