Armie hammer!

A tarot reader whose deck includes a cannibalism card?

View attachment 142583181
More likely a deck with an estranged ex-wife card.

He was already disowned before he used to talk openly about it on TV. His family wasn't even at his wedding...
This is not true.

Hammer was also not disowned because he went into acting either, despite what he says. His parents bought him an $850,000 condo in Hollywood when he was 19.
Both are true. Wealthy families use money as enforcement. When Armie did things like drop out of high school, his father cut him off. When Armie got back in his father's good graces, the money spigot was turned back on.

Given the stories about the Hammer family dysfunction, it's also likely that Armie refused money if it came with certain strings.

Anyone who has been around families with money will recognize the pattern of on/off support as a means of coercion.

Hammer also lived as an adult in his family’s property in Holmby Hills next to the Armand Hammer Golf Course. He was only forced to move when the property needed to be sold.
That is very interesting.

He said and it's documented that he would crash on people's couches cause he had no place to live when he first moved to Los Angeles and tried to make it as an actor. He had no money cause his family cut him off cause he wanted to be an actor and his family wanted him in the family business.

Also in one of his recent interviews can't remember exactly which one if Stern or Morgan, they asked him about the money to which he said "it's complicated". But basically he was broke... I mean do you really think he would work as a timeshare salesman and be selling his truck cause gas is expensive if he really had family money??

They paid for his rehab but that was it. He's been out of the family fund for years cause his parents didn't want him to be an actor. Heck, they never saw Call Me By Your Name cause he played a gay character.
Those people are just something else.

Armie Hammer already lived in Los Angeles. He attended Los Angeles Baptist High School in the Valley. He did not leave home to pursue dreams of Hollywood like he was goddam Pearl. The only thing in common with her is the homicidal impulses.

He dropped out of school at 11th grade. Maybe he even left his home at that time or ran away. Many parents would understandably be upset at their kid dropping out junior year, not because they were expecting him to take over the family business (the Hammer family does not run Occidental Petroleum btw), but because you need a high school degree to get a job.

As for young Hammer’s commitment and passion for acting, he has admitted he was almost dropped by his first agents because they would book auditions for him and he wouldn’t bother to show up.

His family’s refusal to see Call Me By Your Name is unfortunate. Even more unfortunate is the fact that Hammer, as recently as (checks notes) last month, defended his text messages to Bill Maher by claiming his gay friend had told him - and here he affected a Paul Lynde accent and made his wrists limp - that the content was tame compared to what gay men send to each other on Grindr.

Maybe a dumb question, but if he did do porn or OF, would you watch?
When I first saw him in The Social Network I thought he was insanely hot. The scandals hurt that for me, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't still want to see his cock.
But, seeing him on OF or doing porn and knowing he'd only be doing it because his life had fallen to pieces that much would, for me, be a boner killer.

I know what you mean, but let's face it, that description is probably why lots of people end up doing porn. We just tend not to know/ignore their backstories.

Never hated on him, but kind of forgot about him in terms of current state/career. I watched him on a recent podcast ep and he passes the overall 'vibe check' for me. He seems very humbled by his past few years, and he's admitted to being a silly impulsive person who's made a lot of mistakes. Paradoxically one can tell he's pretty intelligent. TBH a redemption arc opportunity in future wouldn't be surprising to me, but in a way I hope he stays out of the acting game if money-aside he's living better outside of it.

The people glibly cheering “He can do porn now!” are conveniently forgetting the fall of James Deen, whose prolific career collapsed much like Hammer’s after multiple women accused him of sexual violence. Every company cut its ties with him. It’s safe to presume Hammer would be held to the same standard.

Every company cut its ties with him. It’s safe to presume Hammer would be held to the same standard.
The difference now is OF and that he was acquitted of the charges. There will be plenty of women and gay men who'd subscribe

It's one thing to be a porn actor whose allegations against costars can be found on video recordings. Those studios should not work with Deen again.

It's another thing to be accused of a crime on social media but never be charged with a crime.

The end of the similarity between Deen and Hammer is that investigation of Hammer by the police. When the rubber hit the road on the Hammer allegations, the police did not have evidence of a crime and after an investigation he was not charged. When there was question of a civil case against Hammer, Gloria Allred wouldn't represent the accuser because the accuser wouldn't agree to document the allegations under penalty of perjury. Allred was not going to represent a client who would not swear under oath that her accusations were true.

When a crime is investigated and indicted by a grand jury, it's the "people vs" that appears on the indictment, not the accuser. Everyone is innocent in a court of law until proven guilty. Sadly, on Twitter accusations are made and are too often assumed to be true. When the Hammer accusations were being repeated in the tabloids, they sounded ridiculous and they turned out to be false and misleading claims made by someone who has proven to be very unstable and in cahoots with Hammer's estranged wife.

Hammer was never charged, so there was never an acquittal.

What Allred and the LAPD found is that there wasn't evidence of a crime or a reliable witness that could result in a verdict against Hammer. When the evidence came out that the ex-wife was in collusion with the accusers, it confirmed what Allred and the LAPD had concluded.

Unfortunately, the damage was done by then.
