Yes; why shouldn't we (differentiate between the mad and the non-mad among Christians, that is)? Why should the applicability of the religious classification "Christian" be a license to impute to all who fall under it the very worst things that you can find among some who do so?

If you do accept that rule of reasoning--and your practice so far indicates that you do--then by the same rule, anyone could use examples of, say, Britons being brutes and jackasses (e.g., football hooligans) to infer that all Britons are brutes and jackasses.

I am truly ashamed to admit this but once i was an atheist and homosexual, I lived a sinfull life and i worshipped horrible people instead of the Lord. I was brainwashed with liberal agenda by my two dads who fondled my private parts while forcing me to watch Micheal Moore documentaries.

But someone then sent me here and my entire life changed, the true wisdom and rationality of this forum has showed me the way, i am now a proud Landover Baptist and a devout follower of Jesus and his truth, and now i feel like i am worthy of joining this forum of enlightment.

Nothing to say about Hinduism and the cow-eating taboo or the prescription of vegetarianism when millions still starve? Quid about the Dalai Lama's views on homosexuality?

all organized religion simply copied each other. Judaism started with their stories copying Akhenaten, then Christianity's stories responded to it and split off from Judaism, then Islam just plagiarized the story of Jesus and changed it to Muhammad. I agree with Calboner. Mathematics, Propositions of logic, and Analytical Propositions are not testable as scientific propositions. One could test them, but that would be superfluous, as they can be demonstrated to be true using logic alone.

As for the question, "May there be true answers to transcendent cosmological questions?", there might be, but we have no way of knowing if they are true, since there is no way of testing them.

I'm cool with that.... my questions is why does the word GOD insight so much anger in people? Seriously...before this thread, I always thought the over-zealous Christians were the assholes... but I see that's not the case. Shit works both ways... Which brings me to my second point... if they're both equally prone to faults, in truth and anything else, why does one side feel soooooooo much more intelligent than the other? Neither side knows anything the other side doesn't. With exceptions existing for the close minded lunatics of course...
