I listened to this 3 times on the way to work today and thought of nothing save my undying love for M & M: Mariah and Matthew.

SIGH.

*turns out she was a man.*

Shoulda known with the deep voice.
Hey! I'm an alto too. It's not her fault sopranos are more marketable currently. And Mariah can hit those same low notes becasue she's well trained.

She cannot, however, hit the same high notes anymore. I don't know if she's still being coached, but some training might bring back the high end of her range. Singers should never stop training.

She can! I think she does it a little less because some people hate it.

Sorry Lex,

Yes, her new album is good, but it was her old stuff that made her. She is old school quality. Not sure aobut the new stuff.

Sorry for you dear, but Ms. Mariah can't be a White Wonder Bread Diva anymore. You'll get used to the flavor, besides she has'nt been doing bona fide power ballads since before her album BUTTERFLY.

Remember when MTV's Serena Altschultz used to always interview her (they did not like each other) and she would ask Mariah: "So, are we going to get much of your vocal gymnastics on this album?!?!"

Mariah would just smile and give a standard hiding my inner bitch answer.

I killed Serena as a result. Dead.
