Have you had a breast augmentation? How was the sensation in your breasts changed by the procedure?

I've stuffed my bra. Does that count?

I would consider it if my breasts looked like this due to breastfeeding, even if it meant a loss of sensation. I honestly don't have much sensation to begin with. Of course, the fact that the surgery needs to be repeated over the course of my life is something to take into account, but I know I would feel very unattractive if my breasts deflated that badly because of breastfeeding.

It makes me sad when I see photos like this. I think she was gorgeous "before." Why did she feel like she needed surgery?

If you had to have your flesh cut to do it, ring in.

Thank you for your opinion. That's not what the poll is about, though.

Yes, I agree the strongest reason to enlarge is to correct a really bad shape-or a huge mismatch in proportion with the rest of the body. If they are well-shaped and smallish the state of the art in augmentation is not good enough to warrant enlargement. If the state of the art was better it would be a tougher choice. Downsizing is rarely a good choice either- in both cases people should be happy with what they have rather than respond to their perceived pressure from men to enlarge and women to reduce. Down sizing makes for truly hidious scars.

Yes, but did you have it done, and how did it affect the sensitivity of your breasts?

BTW, you should STFU with this "should be happy with what they have" shite. What you find acceptable in another person will often not match what they find acceptable in themselves.

That seems harsh. I'm saying they should be true to how they feel rather than be swayed by errant perceptions. So STFU.

    No breast augmentation here!

(irrelevant but since this is a womans issues thread, I tried to breast feed, found it extremely hard since I have inverted nipples, so no breatfeeding, so I went from a 36B to 38D, three years passed, and still a D cup! Yay for not breastfeeding!

and I JUST LOVE THE LOVE ON HERE )

And don't forget either the beer or med chaser.

Sweetie, you're talkin' to a guy(hicky) who mixes grain alcohol with with shine & meds- the worst kinda martini'd be like lemonade to him.

I should think not there, Foxy! I've only minutes ago perused your gallery pics, and I can see no foreseeable reason for enhancement/augmentation.

^^enables some women to breast feed.

to correct a breast feeding myth:
i was a b cup before feeding, i fed 6 months with both kids, i'm now an e cup, and i think i have an ok set of jugs. it's a sad fact that the breast feeding causes sag myth actually stops women from feeding.
my kid sis refused to breast feed, for fear of becoming saggy. she now sags more than i do.

please don't perpetuate potentially harmful myths.

breast feeding, in my opinion, is pretty unpleasant an irritating really. i don't begrudge any woman deciding/realising that it's not for her, but i just hate the idea of these myths being the reason for her choice.

    ^^post-feeding jug

gotta say though, it took them a while to re-plump. there's a bit where the glands go down, before the fat fills back up, where they were a tad flacid. but i believe in giving a body at least 18 months to recover. it's been through some serious shit!
