Chris Pine

Now Quinto, that's an interesting guy.

i haven't been very impressed with jimmy fallon ,YET, but last nights show had zach quinto and leonard nimoy on together and they really seemed to have alot of rapport with each other.

quinto showed himself to be a very smart guy, just the right amount of deference to nimoy, without being fawning and you could tell nimoy genuinely thought quinto did a great job with the role. refreshing in backstabbing hollywood.

fallon was his usual spastic self, but it didn't ruin the pair's chemistry.

at one point quinto said one thing he really wanted to do and hasnt' yet is host SNL and then at the end of the interview, nimoy mocking said the same thing, it would be great to have them both host it together.

fallon said he'd put in a call to lorne michaels, hope it happens!

Loved the movie, love the basket pine was sporting in almost every shot. My favorite is the young Chekov, I think the accent was a bit over done. I thought the actor playing Bones really hit the role dead on. If you closed you eyes you swear you were hearing McCoy himself. Definately a well cast movie. Any questions concerning any change from the original was fully explained in the movie but I'm sure there will be many so called trekkie fans with complaints. For me it was the best one right from the start.

Chris Pines is great in the new Star Trek movie. He shows considerable bulge in his briefs in the love-making sceen early on in the film. Any pics or insider knowledge floating around out there about this young hunk.

Well, the film was very good, with a few notable detractions. I won't give away the plot for those that haven't seen it, but if you're into star trek then you'll probably be left thinking 'WTF' over some aspects of the plot. I can't really detail it without talking details, so I'll leave those that wish to see it to judge for themselves.

I plan on seeing it again though, so it can't have been too bad!

Definitely agree with the basket...especially in the apartment scene in his underwear:tongue:

I just saw it and I think it was probably their best movie with the plot and it looks like it will be the best Star Trek in the box office too. Hopefully they make a sequel.

i enjoyed the movie. no real complaints excpet for the fact the maybe they couldve shown irk in his underwear just a little longer. nice bulge. cant wait for some screen caps to be posted!

possible spoiler alert If anyone is refering to the fact that kirk and spock didn't meet at this age it's all due to parallel universes due to the time shifts caused by spock being taken back in time.

I saw it a few days ago and I thought the film was great, though I agree there were certain plot twists which were rather considerable, even for a reboot. I did keep losing track of the film cause I was watching Chris every time he was on screen tho. Mmmmm...

ya i wasn't sure whether i was just a moron or maybe just too distracted by quinto and pine but i had some trouble buying parts of the plot. And i don't know anything about the original series either. overall a pretty good movie though. I probably need to see it again.

let's go together

Enjoyed this thread. Movie was fun to watch, and I agree with someone earlier on this thread that the casting was great -- especially Bones. I do like Chris Pine's eyes, but he wasn't my favorite eye candy. Checkov was cute, Spock the younger was good looking although I was surprised at some aspects of his character. I'm probably going to see the movie again, too, so next time I'll watch the guys more now that I know the story.
