I came to the US as a teenager from one of the third world countries, where circumcision was not commonly being practice, even as of now. It was really eye-opening later into my high school years when I noticed and read about American males mostly have circumcised cocks. I commuted to a local college for my first semester while stayed at home, however due to time consumed of the commute, I decided to live in college dorm for the 2nd semester. Being afraid of looking different, I signed up to have the circumcision procedure in December during the school break, preparing me for a college life in dormitory. That was roughly years ago and looking back, I've never regret the decision to have my circumcision done.

What style of cut are you going for?
I just joined LPSG a few days ago (hi everyone) and have really enjoyed reading through everyone's posts. I'm 42 and am considering a circumcision.
My foreskin has progressively become tighter as I've aged and for some time I've been unable to retract it beyond the head even when soft. This makes cleaning more time consuming and can sometimes mean my foreskin becomes tender after masturbating.
I suppose what I'd like is to tap into your experience of circumcision at a more mature age. My concerns are that my cock won't be as sensitive afterwards and that this will affect my sex life. The other question I have is on which type of cut you guys would recommend? I've read on here that the skin on the shaft can be left tighter or looser. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I suggest loose cut. I have tight cut and sometimes it can be quite painful during heavy erection. If you can just clipped off the foreskin opening, that’ll be great.
For anyone with normal foreskin, i’d suggest keep it. I regret my circumcision, as it left some holes that can’t heal (from the surgical string) and they collect stuff (sweat, dead skin, soap, etc). Once in a while i had to try ejecting those smelly remains.
I wish I wasn’t cut. If I could turn back time, perhaps still cut but only clip off the foreskin opening, keep the rest of the skin.

I love being circuncised, i didnt really know what it was until I was about 11 and became interested in who was/wasnt and why. The rate in my age group in Australia was prob about 40% cut then.
Moving to the UK where everyone seemed to be uncut, and had some negative comments about it made me self-conscious and I considered restoration. I am back to being happily cut (high and tight now) but its crazy how we can make something like being cut in and uncut society such a big thing in our heads

I feel as you do. I was not cut at birth mostly because my parents were not well educated. My mother's education only went to the 6th grade. My father was from a 3rd world country and was uneducated. I heard my mom say us boys didn't need to be circumcised because we were not Jews. I had 5 brothers and only one was cut at birth. That was because mom's doctor and his nurse made a house call for the purpose of performing the operation. Mom upon witnessing the procedure, swore she would never allow this to be done to any other sons who would be born later. Which included me.
I first saw a cut dick when I was about (omited) years old, at a trough urinal. The dick belonged to a young man in his early 20's I would guess. I was fascinated with his cut dick. UK here - circumcised in infancy. I LOVE being circumcised! Definitely in the minority in the UK - perhaps no more than 15% are circumcised - but I delight in my circumcised status of which I am very proud.
46 here in the UK & with phimosis after my foreskin split during sex with last girlfriend a couple of years ago. Foreskin wont go over the head at all so finally looking at doing something about it & going private for a circumcision. Just looking for any advice or encouragement really, lol.

i respect your logic and view. FYI i like your low tight circumcised cock. looks nice. Everything you says is statistically correct; but i love circumcised better as a preference. its a hard one because circumcision at birth is the best results, but this also robs one of choice as you state.
