You are very correct. I'm a black male of African decent. It is a male custom/ritual for all the males in my personal family (mother's side) that we be circumsized at 12 or 13 yrs. old. I was between 13 and 14 yrs. old.

I had doubts about this topic because I thought it was fashionable to be circumcised and your comments have brought light.
I uploaded a post from 10 years ago haha.
Is the situation the same in the USA? In Spain circumcision is done if necessary.
The studies do indicate that it protects against HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Infections but even so I love my prepuce
