It's not like they were doing something illegal. plus, i want to know how the pics were found and how long were they actually doing it for before they were found out. I didn't see that in there

Every action has consequences. It's well known that employers look at Myspace and Facebook these days before hiring someone. Suggestive photographs of any sort are generally frowned upon and some people aren't being hired because of them. Although these guys might not have thought they were doing anything wrong, the ramifications may be felt for many years to come. The boys have learned a hard lesson about life.

i dont understand why it matters to the school either they arent under any kind of a publicity contract for the school are they?

I don't know about any contractual issues. My guess is that the university is just embarrassed (too f*ing bad) and feels the need to put on a show of action for its more puritan constituents. Cornhuskers parading naked for cornholers? Break out the torches and pitchforks.
