Cologne

I wish I remembered the name, but it was a Clinique cologne that hubby tried once. Goddam, that was powerful! Good powerful! It was a musky vanilla, if that makes sense. But it was like pheromones when he'd walk in a room! My antennas would be fixed on him, and I'd feel the tingle!

Depending on the natural chemistry of the person wearing it, I'm fond of Acqua do Gio by Giorgio Armani. As far as tips, I would suggest testing any potential cologne out a time or two and see how it is on you when worn :)

Chemistry? Such a sexy scent!

So much involved in buying a new fragrance is this an all the time scent or one for work or days off or special nights out? I've worked in the fragrance industry for close to 7 years. Hit me up with any questions. I'm always down to help.
Here is my list of suggestions.

Regular, every day - bleu de Chanel or terre d'hermes
Sexy night time fragrance - Tom Ford Tuscan Leather
Work scent - Prada l'homme

I get the most compliments with either Creed Aventus, Acqua di Gio Profumo, or Jo Malone 154. Dior Savauge is nice but it seems - at least on me - folks either love it or absolutely hate it... there doesn't seem to be any middle ground.

If we are talking aftershave, I like the one from Dead Sea. It's like a glue that works to adhere my nose to a man's face.

What other words can "cologne" be used for by the way, excluding aftershave? I think I was labouring under the misapprehension that "aftershave" and "cologne" were synonymous, just the former British and the latter American.

TBH, initially I thought this was a travel advice thread about the city before clicking on the link :D
