As a man of science I gave it a solid 6 months of daily observation and experimentation. I haven't seen a single redeeming quality or trait this far.

Perhaps it's you? This is not a negative either... just means you are picky and that's not a bad thing.

(IDK but from my experience on CL, I've found the men to be just as hideous, using fake pics, then show up 50-75 pounds heavier or totally not what they represented themselves to be.)

The other problem with CL is that the guys are not interested in anything but fucking... most don't even want to text to get past the "deal breakers" , yes I have some and I would hope the guys have some too, nor do they want to know what your sexual tastes are. They just want a hole to fuck.

One exception. A super nice 19 yr old guy who was a first timer. A few years back had the opportunity to actually meet and spend some time with this guy (out of bed first) and was able to share some of my knowledge and experience about online hookups and how to play safely.

CL is not the best site for hooking up, unless you want sex and want it NOW. (and really have to weed through a bunch of folks to get a good one.)

I tried out Craigslist for finding M4W fun for a while. Lord knows it wasn't easy, but I had some success. Responding to W4M ads was a waste of time; it never worked (probably because the posters get dozens if not hundreds of responses to choose from, even if most of them are junk).

Posting my own ads was what worked, if rarely. Spammy/bot responses were the most common, but at least most of those were easy to detect. Responses from guys were the next most common (those never came to anything as I just didn't have the interest). As for the responses from (as far as I could tell) real women, most weren't appealing, physically or mentally or both. With others it wouldn't go beyond their initial email or two, probably in a lot of cases because they were just having fun flirting with the idea of having the hookup, without ever actually intending to. Trying to keep this all as safe as possible also narrowed the field.

And yet, with all that, I did have some success. Worth it? Depends on your point of view and particular situation. But for one thing, simply having a hookup in this way, with a near-stranger, can be exciting enough to justify having to go through a certain amount of BS to get there. For that matter, that BS - or to put it another way, the chase, the challenge - makes success that much more rewarding.

Always a lot easier to score a hoookup with a guy than a woman -- whether it's on CL, bar or on the street. Hell, even at work. Or a restaurant. Or...well, you get my point. It's always surprising the number of straight identifying guys who just need to get off and really don't care if it's with a guy. Which brings me to: Men are pigs.

I met a older married guy on CL who said he was average. Turns out his dick was probably 9". He shrugged it off and said it seemed average to him. I was very happy indeed. That's bonly one success out of many fails. Usually CL is pretty full of liars and fakes :/

In my swinging days (2010-2012) I had great success with AdultFriendFinder and SwingLifeStyle. Whenever I looked at CL ads it seemed pretty iffy, but I never tried contacting anyone that way. SLS is mostly couples but mostly genuine. AFF is a crapshoot but you can figure out who's for real with a little conversation.

Regarding Craiglist M4M: you will get much better results if you post your OWN ad with a few photos (A MUST.) Dick, body, ass, etc, you don't necessarily need a face photo in your ad, but you better be prepared to have one when you are emailing back and forth with a potential hookup, most will want to see your face and i don't blame them because i want to see their face as well.

That said I've had tons of sex on CL, really too many to count. And some of these encounters have turned into friends with benefits, or i've ended up dating a guy i met on CL, some have become platonic friendships etc., the options are endless. but like i said your better off placing the ad, then answering some guys ad, by posting you have better control.

Craigslist is nothing but fail for me. I get lots of guys responding to my photos... but never females unless they're escorts. The amount of scam emails I get is ridiculous. I've sent tons of emails to ads, always fake. I've renewed my post several times and have yet to meet a lady on there. If I was gay, I'm sure I'd have met someone by now. I've had three offers by guys to suck my dick AND pay me for it. What the hell is that!? hahaha

i've tried many times posting ads on there and only get responses from dudes. or dudes pretending to be chicks.

Has anyone had any success with sexual Craigslists ads? They all seem fake to me. It all seems like advertisements or invitations for burglars.
