Came here to tell my Bathmate story. used it as directed in the shower for about 2 weeks, sometimes taking a day or two off to recover.
One day I'm using it in the shower and I felt a strange "pop" sensation I'm my penis near the underside of the glans. no pain really that I recall, just a huge sense of fear.
I immediately took it off and had a very hard time staying erect afterward. I was only 23 at the time and never ever had problems getting erect before.
Throughout the day, at completely random moments I'd get this incredibly sharp pain in that same spot deep inside the internal parts of my glans. the pain would last for about a second and then just stop and disappear.
This went on for weeks. I was so, so horrified, I thought I gave myself a venous leakage or something, who knows maybe I did. I didn't go to a urologist or anything because I knew they'd just chalk it up to nerves or something.
Then my erections kind of started coming back, but the underside of my penis was very flat, and felt deflated . just the two side chambers would fill with blood, not the one on the bottom.
Then I decided to stop bothering it completely. I stopped watching porn and stopped masturbating and having sex with the wife. that was tough for both of us and the entire time, I was contemplating uicide thinking I permanently broke my penis beyond all repair.
Little by little, as my penis recovered from whatever the fuck I did to it, my erections came back to normal after a few weeks.
But every now and then I'd get the random sting. whenever I warm up in the shower and try some light jelqng, I get the random sting for a few days and get afraid. whenever I do too many keels I, again, get the random sting for a few days. so whatever I did with the bathmate in the shower that day, 1.5 years later still has some effect on me despite my best efforts to recover.
This is just my anecdote. Some people, I suspect are more susceptible to injuries than others. the problem is you never know which one you are without taking the risk and finding out the hard way.
Please be careful and if you do ANY PE routine, start off way less than recommended and very very gradually increase your intensity.
