I don't know if I really classify as "petite" anymore. I'm 5'2.5" (usually just say I'm 5'3") but am not slim anymore but more "average/chubby" with a somewhat naturally muscular build (not like a bodybuilder but just rather firm most everywhere and with broad shoulders and kind of big-boned). I get comments on how firm I am - although I do have a bit too much tummy
- and how smooth my skin is, more than comments on anything else.
I was REALLY petite when I was growing up. I remember them having a blood drive at my high school at the end of my senior year and although I was 18, I was ineligible to donate blood because I weighed under 110 lbs! (Actually, at age 18, I did tip the scales over 100, though - right around 102...) I was a tiny kid too... I was reading something from someone whose soon to be 5-year old daughter weighed 35 lbs. and she was talking about her daughter being small for her age. I weighed 35 lbs. at age 6 when I started first grade! Everyone where I was from thought I was abnormally small for my age and all that. Thing is, I grew up completely in the average range - just a little shorter than average but definitely in the average range. The funny thing is that I actually outgrew most of the women where I grew up! :biggrin1: My LTR guy made a comment about that once, about how at a reunion in my hometown all these women there made me look tall!
Interestingly, I date more guys who are 6'2"-6'3" than any other height! (The last guy I dated was 6'5" and was the tallest guy I've dated). I used to not really pay that much attention to height but I've noticed at least in the experiences I've had, that the taller guys tend to be more hung. So that's why I usually go for taller guys now. (Plus, they seem to go for me!) I'm ok with guys who are not as tall, too (but yes, I do prefer them hung, regardless of height!)
