When I read someone in these forums complain that a hot guy who they aren’t actually acquainted with was ‘arrogant and rude’ when they saw them out, I picture some creep randomly hitting on the guy and him understandably not being interested.

These guys aren’t celebrities, they don’t have to engage with you and they don’t have to be nice to you. It doesn’t make them arrogant or rude

I know have known him for a long time. I don’t think he is arrogant - he is quite narcissistic and lacks emotional intelligence. That makes for a very transactional person, which isn’t particularly appealing.
