For all the other people outside North America for whom this thread will indeed be utterly meaningless: Emergency Medical Technician for American Medical Response. Something approaching a paramedic, in other words.

EMTs respond to trauma, medics respond to illness. The chief differenced is the ability to administer drugs.


Congratulations, Dude. I was told I was going to drive, and quit on the spot! LOL I was at the top of my class and wanted to only tech, whereas at that time, I hadn't driven a vehicle at all in two years.
