Exposing a fake

Ah, well if that's all you've caught...I mean, ahem....what service van? :biggrin1:

Next homeowners meeting I'm calling for the termination of the contract with our current security company.

I've always wanted to try "pole" dancing!!!!

I'll put that on my card. That way the wife won't fuss about me not getting one for her.

I have encountered upset wives who posted nude pics of themselves on sites to get the compliments that their spouses didn't.

Well, I'm possibly a little guilty of that but my pics are very definitely me, so at least when I receive compliments (or otherwise!), I know they're about me rather than someone else!

Very true and we are greatful for it. :biggrin1:

It may not have been the best example, but I'm trying to find a way to understand why someone would. I mean we all know our weaknesses and strengths. You are a beautiful woman and you know that so you are ok posting pics. My avatar is about as close as I'll get because I do not necessarily think I am all that cute, but I am NOT going to steal a picture to be someone else. And if I was? It would be Samuel L. Jackson.

Maybe a sense of acceptance that they wouldn't ordinarily get. I have encountered upset wives who posted nude pics of themselves on sites to get the compliments that their spouses didn't. My wife actually did that a few years back for validation when we were having issues.

Whatever the motivation, I think it is rooted in loneliness and a need to be appreciated and loved. Which is why I say love yourself first, then come play online. The person a faker hurts most is themselves and there is no need for it. In all sincerity, I feel a little down for the fakers. They feel this is the only way to be loved and that makes me sad for their plight.

I can hear you all now going "WHAT?!?!", but I do tend to try and empathize rather than condemn.

Yes, I agree, Osiris. That's what depresses me. It makes me sad to feel that someone is afraid they will be rejected, whether for their looks or their opinions. We have all read posts from those who are very insecure for one reason or another, including me. I'm sure BV is fine just the way she is.

I think it is harder for some and may feel like a betrayal, especially to the men who were attracted physically and complimented her or had other interactions with her. I completely understand why members would be upset about this. We all have out deal breakers.

For me, however, just like other members, she is more than her body. I truly enjoy her posts and conversation. I don't know why she felt the need to use those pictures, but regardless I still find her to be a lovely person inside and would continue to pm with her if she wanted to.

Not sure I agree about the 'beautiful' bit but thanks all the same! For me, having just lost a mound of weight, it's actually more about regaining the body confidence I once had, to be honest...

I think as a man, I would be more upset because you question the person and what they said to you. most of the guys on here are fans of the beautiful female form, but they are not all about boobs. He likes the banter and conversation. When this happens, a lot of people question what a person said and felt. Often times the words were true, the pics were not. Something I try to remember...

You can change the WHO, but you cannot change the WHAT.

And yes, I would love to talk to her still as well.

Very true. Burns1de definitely did the right thing and has protected other members. That man is as sharp as he is sexy, gorgeous, beautiful, yummy.......did I mention sexy?

But I digress....:biggrin1: We all need to know when this happens....I just hope that we can try and understand and attempt to get to know the real BV....

I never have figured out the "faked photo" thing. It's one thing if you want to present an image and think you'll never meet anyone in person. It's another to put up photos in a situation where you might meet someone. Maybe this "character" thought that he/she would never have to fess up.
Good detective work, young man.

Burns1de could have potentially saved a life. Remember the article BigDuder posted up, remember the Jenny Jones fiasco. There was an incident in a Yahoo chatroom some years back. A fight ensued online and one of the guys in the fight hacked back to one of the opposition in this fight, figured out where he lived and they drove over to his house and beat the snot out of him. I can't remember if he died or not, but again, you can never be too careful.

If anyone "posing" is reading this, be careful and reconsider what you are doing. Not all people are as nice as the ones on this forum.

Hey, Osiris......do you get the feeling we are the only ones in this thread and that everyone else went to play elsewhere? Do I hear an echo?

*whispering to widhoney* I think we should go play elsewhere too. Are you bringing the toys?

Most annoying tendency in my nature is to think better of people than they may actually be.

I suspect that she thought she's show-up, have some fun, and perhaps deal with some sexuality issues by explaining it to herself as a joke. If it's a joke then it's not really serious. Maybe she's a guy worried about admitting to himself he's gay or transgendered? After some fun, BV got caught-up with the people here, found she was making friends, and by then the online persona couldn't change. She had become too familiar to be someone else; certainly not someone of the opposite gender.

I know BV is reading this thread and I'm glad because it means there's still an attachment here. Either BV really wants to be here and is afraid of the humiliating reaction he'll get when he posts again, or he's still trying to convince himself this was all one big joke and is enjoying the reaction he's getting. Given the large amount of time he spent posting about things that had nothing to do with sex, my gullible nature tells me it's likely the former.

Good on you Jason and also don't forget, she may not be a he either.

I don't believe that BV is male. We exchanged some pm's, and between those and the posts, the writing is different than the way a man would express himself.

I believe it's more a matter of feeling insecure about her looks and fearing rejection.

This reminds me of a time on myspace. I was sent a gril and email, she responded, I sent her another, she snapped back "dude, you're not my type. never write me again"

He pictures were fuzzy, and I had a bad feeling about them, plus, if a girl doesn't want to talk to you, she will not write back, that's the first time someone had been nasty to me.

I was furious, I thought she was a dude. So I started to investigate. All her hot myspace girl-friends were spam bots. It took a day, but I found out who she was... it was actually an old acquaintance of mine. A girl who was 6'1" and about 200 lbs. Poor thing. I was intent on exposing her as a man, but when I found out who it was, I just let it go.

Weird how it works. You never know what drives people to it usually and you fond out that way.

I am real, I say hello as "Hi this is wildHoney from Lpsg" in my videos.

I have also used LPSG sad half empty web cam room, and have c2c over msn with 5 or so nice members from here.

Skbum, & Luv2showOff, on more than a few occasions have seen all my bits real time on cam. I have NO problem verifying who I am when chatting one on one with people.

xx

Honey

There are a few on here who have seen full shots of me (face included) along with some camming. I'm real.

(A real bitch.)
