Howl deals pretty frankly with Allen Ginsberg's homosexuality, though I don't know if it qualifies as a gay film or not. Plus it stars James Franco, who's pretty dreamy. Hell, I'm not even gay and I'd do him.

If anybodys inerested 'Beautiful Thing' is on Film 4 (UK) this week Thurs 6 0120. Well worth a look even if a bit dated now, and for all you Soap Queens you'll recognise the mother before she was famous, wud be interesting to know what happened to the two boys after making this, I'll get their names and look them up after seeing this again.

I watched Shelter (which was mentioned by another poster above) recently. The whole film is on YouTube in English with Spanish subtitles. The film has just about every "young man coming to terms with being gay by falling in love with hunky older guy" cliche you could ever think of. But, there is a sweetness and a "first true love" type of passion to the story and a strong chemistry between the two (very good looking) leads, Brad Rowe and Trevor Wright. It's a nice film.
