Here are my thoughts on this. You say "Act straight" that is a term that I hate. Do you act any differently now then you did when you came to grips with the fact that you are a gay man? As long as you are still the same guy that your family and friends love. Why sweat the bad stuff. There are no laws that state just because you are gay you have to run around like a fairy. Please, please be yourself. Cut yourself a major amount of slack. Don't try and twist yourself to fit some image of masculinity that doesn't even exist. If people can tell you're gay, fine. Dude, I know it sucks to be gay in your neck of the woods, especially with religious parents, but you're looking for the quick way out, not the best way out. There is absolutely no need for you to come out to anyone at all. Come out when you want to whom you want when you feel it's safe to do so.
