Guilty Pleasure

that’s in my local hippie store. Although, I guess it’s really hipster. Because the last cart I saw with TreeLine had real bacon.

Bleh.

My VitaMix might be 40ish years old, but I can still make cashew/sunflower cheeze in it.

I almost typed “nut based”, then remembered where we are and omelette boy.

I've been trying various recipes for vegan cottage cheese. Some involve culturing raw cashews and nutritional yeast. Others are playing with mixing textures of tofu. Both have their appeal and place. Still doesn't replace the real thing.

Chipotle ranch

I just moved to a new neighborhood and now there's a place called Torchy's Tacos a mere 10 minute walk away (@EllieP knows what I'm talking about), and they have amazing tacos with a variety of sauces but the chipotle ranch is 190 calories a thimble and on the baja shrimp taco I can *easily* use 2 because it's SO GOOD on that particular taco and then I feel guilty for having nearly 400 calories in a SAUCE.

I'm going there this morning with my dad and sis and I'll have to force myself to go with a mr pink taco (ahi tuna). It's good by itself. Or maybe the independent (fried portobello mushrooms & black beans)

Yummy. I hope he gets here soon.

Torchy is my spirit animal! I'll have a Wrangler, if it's early enough, or the Baja Shrimp. I'm not picky.

Eating peanut butter out of the jar :emoji_scream:
I have my very own jar of shame. And I share it with my dogs. I make my own peanut butter to control the sugar content. I buy no sugar added blackberry preserves. In the jar that is just for me, I drop a spoonful of preserves, and take little mouthfuls of peanut butter and preserves. When I'm done, I take one last spoonful and give it to my dogs. If I do not, they feel betrayed. The cats get offered, but they never want any.

Lil Dude is a recent convert to the peanut butter cult. He's a bully breed with the jowls that go with the breed. Peanut butter is the first food to make him drool. He frippin' loves it!

Dexter & Cookie love peanut butter!

Can't get Bob or Ari interested at all though.
