Just watched episode four and now I'm at the halfway point I can definitely say this show is very badly written. Geralt himself says "Destiny helps people believe there's an order to this horseshit" and that just sums it up really. Ironically though Henry really nailed it this episode so I think how good he is depends on how good or bad the writing for his character is

I quite honestly think that whoever is fucking with Henry must feel like the happiest person in the world. Absolute perfection
Also... Joey Batey, who plays his ''friend'' Jaskier is so awful. Not really Joey, but the character. Absolutely annoying.

Anya Chalotra is really good as is the woman who plays her mentor/ guide.
Lets hope the showrunner gets a lot of grief for being a hypocrite and then henrys naked in the 2nd season thats its already renewed for.

If Henry didn't do nudity in season 1, it's hardly going to happen in season 2. They will just get other male characters naked or something. Or change nothing.
Also the female characters are not just there to get naked. It's only episode 3 and 5 that has female nudity.
But it's a lot in those two episodes, and especially 5 felt unnecessary.
And it's basically all Anya, who indeed is the best part of the show! Along with Jodhi May.

That’s right, I can’t think of examples where nudity increases years into a show... if season 1 was like this I doubt it’s ever happening

the series is okay not great not awful.
yennefer is the best bit of the show, even if she is naked for the sake of it.

5 Episodes in and I'm really struggling with it. After just buying the game a couple of months ago I was really looking forward to watching this on Netflix.
The script seems pretty poor and all over the place.
As a huge Henry fan, I am not really feeling him in this piece.
It's not even the fact that HC does not get naked (although that would have been nice) it is just not very good and was hyped up way to much.
Not sure I will even get to the end of this first season let alone watch season 2
