How do you decide?

You really are not understanding... I asked a question to the other people.. Not about my own habbits. You turned it around on me.

Understand?
Good!
Yes I made a mistake and I am sorry. I also said sorry for assuming you were American in another thread as you seemed to be offended.

There was still no need to be rude. So are we quits now?

I am offended to be called American... but it just reiterates the fact you don't read before you post... cause if you look to your left you see the province I live in.. and the country. If being rude is the only way you see anything.. guess that is how it will have to be.

ok no problem! I did say I was sorry is this not good enough for you?

Thanks you are a real charmer!

Nothing wrong with keeping your correspondence. Years and years from now you take them to your nursing home and can remind yourself of all the people who loved you and the contributions you've made to the lives of others. We might erect buildings, publish books, cure disease, or travel in space, yet time will steal it all away and these too shall fade.

I have a suspicion that who we love and loved us in return will matter most at the end of all things.

wow. thats really sweet. and after finding my own baby photos in my great grandma's room after she died, I suspect you're right. Guys like you, saying something like that, still have the ability to astonish me with your sensitivity. Thank you.

I keep special ones, but in general I delete them from my inbox but not from my sentbox; as I usually reply with a quote to the original message, nothing actually gets lost. Other than that, it depends who each message is from.

That's a good idea, and something I'll probably do, but wouldn't it be better to save different messages from both boxes, depending on whether you sent the last message or not? I also usually reply with quotes, so I think with the majority I can just save the last PM from whole conversations since it will have all the other PMs quoted within it.

Also, I've tried the download message option before, but I didn't like how it came out, so that's not going to be a real solution for me.

This all has made me want to start deleting some of my PMs, but I'd really like to get to 100% full, so I can't do it quite yet.:biggrin1:

I'm ruthless with mine, I clear them out every few days, I occasionally keep one or two that were nice ones for a little longer but none of them last more than a few weeks in there.
