The partner I have been with for nine years is just as polyamerous as the partner I have been with for just over a year. We do not have a hierarchy or anything like that either. All three of us are on equal footing in our mutual relationship. One partner simply prefers to always use protection (as-is their right to require), while the other one is no longer able to spawn crotch-goblins and due to our relationship's relative exclusivity (and all three of us testing clean on a regular basis) feels confident in having sex bareback.
