Impeachment?? WTF???

Yes. It was reprehensible. I know I was terrified knowing that a man who would lie about getting a blowjob had his finger hovering over the button to deploy thermonuclear weapons.

And go to figure out much time and money was spent in order to get Clinton to lie about something that was no one else's business. I still recall the whole proceeding(s) was an effort of time find out about a failed bank loan/land deal that was initially about $30,000 dollars worth of effort, not the eventual $44 million that it cost to investigate this small loan.

Sending a cannon to do the job of a pea shooter.

Kenneth Star was gleeful to find something to nail Clinton with, but it made the USA look foolish in the world's eyes.

Bush and his VP need to be impeached and taken off the payroll and retirement fund.

This is what I have always said--Clinton may have lied about his relationship with Monica, but the relationship was outside the scope of Ken Starr's investigation. Starr had to get something--anything--on Bill after having wasted so much time, money, and effort on his investigation. Otherwise the Republicans starving for the political witchhunt would have looked even more ridiculous. As far as I know, the only casualty of Bill's lie was a blue dress.

I just need to correct something you said. You said it wasn't ALL his fault to invade IRAQ. The fact is it WAS his idea ALONE! ALL of his advisers including Joint Chiefs were telling him it was a mistake. The top weapons inspector on the ground in Iraq (for 12 years) named David Kay told Bush "there ARE NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION IN IRAQ!" He warned BUSH "You can't tell the American people that you think there WMD in Iraq because its not true." What did Bush do-- he fired David Kay and told the CIA to make up fake reports that he could use to lie and decieve everyone. He had them MANUFACTURE fake reports!!

If ever there was a sitting Presidential administration that worked hard for and earned Impeachment it is definitely this one.

The problem as I see it is that as has been said by others we are far too late in the game to do so.

I would 100% support major investigations and criminal prosecution of this entire administration as they leave the White House. I want to see investigations and criminal prosecution of Bush, Cheney, Rice, and I have a special little place in this for Rove. Any and all statutes inacted by this administration that could or would cover-up criminal acts in the name of National Security need to be reversed.

Party politics aside, the United States belongs to the people, not a current Presidential adminstration and not to various industrial conglomerates.

Though my preference at this point would be for a Democratic win, I think that the greatest thing any new sitting President Democrat or Republican could do would be to expose the legal transgressions, proseccute the guilty and "clean house".

This would include a complete investigation into the actual military record of the soon to be "Former President". People in this Country need to get up in arms and say NEVER AGAIN!

Another thing that needs to be done immediately is the obliteration of the "Electoral College" that has the power to reverse the popular vote of the people.

Because the Bush "Two" Administration spent the first days of office inacting "cover-up" legislation retroactively back to Bush One, I believe that the ability of the President to do this must be taken away.

It will take decades to clean up the mess that has been made by this administration. The Economy is in total shambles, no meaningful energy policy, a rubber stamp for anything oil companies wanted were all things we need to take a second hard look at.

I also do not feel any safer because of "G.W." I feel now that my safety, my privacy, and my life are more endangered by those in office than they are or were by outside influences.

It is sad, whomever we get at the end of this year, it will be guaranteed to be better than what we have had. I only hope that we can begin to restore the faith and respect we once held with other people in other places. It is truly sad.

Bush definitely deserves impeachment, and then when he was convicted and removed, the impeachment proceedings could have started against President Cheney. But it's too late now.

I'm waiting for the war crimes trials: Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Feith, Ashcroft, Gonzales, Wolfowitz, the whole lot of them! I read in the NY Times yesterday that Colin Powell's former chief of staff has advised numerous former Bush administration officials to not travel anywhere outside the US except Israel and Saudi Arabia for fear they would be arrested abroad on war crimes charges. Henry Kissinger already this problem from his years as National Security Adviser and Secretary of State, but that arrogant SOB hasn't gotten caught yet.
