There are some media reports from the last week or so that a player from the Nets is going to come out as bisexual. It seems as though Carter or Jefferson are the prime candidates. They're both pretty tight with Tyson Beckford - if that means anything.

Jefferson's wife has also been quoted as saying her husband enjoyed an alternative lifestyle. Her lawayer quickly shut her up.

Actually this story isn't hard to believe. I have a buddy who is a newspaper reporter and I've been in several lockerrooms - college and pro both. It's getting harder and harder to see naked college jocks. Usually in the colleges they bring the players out to an interview room. However, in pro ball you usually get to see naked guys in the lockeroom all the time. Also, there are very strict rules for the press about making "personal" pictures or asking for autographs. I'm sure if this guy went in the lockerroom as a friend of the coach, the same thing would apply to him as well.

It's not uncommon to see several visitors in a lockerroom after a game, from former high school teammates of the athletes, to the kids of the athletes. To me it's odd to see a bunch of 8 or 10 year old boys running around a pro lockerroom, but it's not all that uncommon now.

I don't like the current NBA uniforms. I like the old tighter shorts. Every once in a while, you would get a player flopping out of them.

In sporting circles, those old style shorts were referred to as "nut huggers."

I think you can see more "floppin" in the looser uniforms today, but you could definitely seem some long, muscular legs with the shorter shorts. (The kind I dream about having wrapped around me.)

Wrong lvsxy808, it was J.L. King who went on Oprah to sensationalize that.
