An issue seldom discussed is that penetrative sex might not be as satisfying for small guys as large. A "lack of power", popping out esp. when the partner flexes, feeling small in an expanded juicy space, not being able to "reach" doggies style, etc. might be factors. Maybe this causes small men not be as active as large as well as other factors.
Smaller men experiencing these things which are unpleasant TO THEM may project, rightly or wrongly, on the woman.

I also voted “irrelevant” because it simply is. And as stated before, my perception of the average size (in other words I’m seeing a guy with 5.5 inch) is somewhat smaller then I expected to find before studies came out. Now I know better, I’m educated. But ask this on any other sex related forum and they would probably have different opinions then the guys and girls on lpsg. That is to be expected.
But in the end, the size really means nothing. It’s all about the person it’s attached to. Let’s adapt this whole discussion to hand size and see how ridiculous it gets.
The problem with the average study is nobody really ever truly believes it. Most straight guys only see cocks bigger than 7 inches. Most gay guys chase big cocks. I just read up on the jaggedness principle and I don't think it is used correctly above.
"Attractiveness" would consist of many different attributes: character, height, build, penis, presentation, etc. That would be jaggedness of the the concept of attractive. An individual could be above or below average on different scales. How do you combine jagged data? No clear way.
On the other hand, "length of penis" is 1 variable and definitely has a median (average) and a mode (most frequent). Both are from 5.1 to 5.5 according to studies. No jagged data there.
Of course, people are not necessarily exposed much to the average if the sexually active are in the large range.

I'm really grateful that I have at least 5.5 or close to 6 inch dick. Because like even what you say here...."can happily play with a 5-5.5 inch dick" says to anyone with a 4 or 4.5 inch dick that they would have a serious hurdle and actually reinforces their insecurities. First of all, statistics do not qualify, they merely quantify. Just because the majority of men may be small, does not make the size medium.
It has nothing to do on how big things are or how small things are or how long, or thick or dark or light or hot or warm or cold nor is it and indicator of any qualifier. It just indicates where things fall, not qualify them.
