I don't wish ill will on anyone, but I hope that people have realized that he won't ever send real quality content nor is it what it he is implying it to be and have acted accordingly with their money.
That being said, he seems to be doing just fine as it doesn't look like he is back to a 9 to 5 job based on his social media. But I also don't follow him that closely anymore. So I could be wrong.

300lbs Joel was peak especially with that beard. Transformation is insane no doubt but from that second picture, it does nothing for me.

I think it is because his face has “harsh” features that are softened when his face is rounder.
