Did you know Josh left San Diego because of gay rumors? They followed him his entire youth. Now he has to deal with straight rumors? Give this guy a break.

He spent his early teens having sexual relations with a guy, not realizing he was being taken advantage of till later. How DARE we doubt his sexuality - do you know how hard it must've been to come to terms with his own preferences after being abused by men since age 5? This conversation disgusts me.

It means he’s part of the LGBTQ+ community. He doesn’t owe anyone further explanation.

When it comes to people who are LGBTQ+, if they are not T, G, or L then some people in this community become very stupid.

It means he's part of the gay community, what's not clicking here?

Once and for all, being queer doesn't mean anything. Can you explain what that means exactly? Because if I searched the definition, it says "Queer is a word that describes sexual and gender identities other than straight and cisgender", so basically it means everything and nothing, it's vague enough so anyone can think what he wants.

And "being part of the LGBT community" is the same. Everybody is part of the LGBT community nowadays. Than can means you're gay, or bi, or just gay friendly. It's really convenient.

He is sweet but I'm tired of all those people saying they are LGBTQ but showing nothing to prove it. For Christ sake, is it really that difficult to be a little bit precise when you make a statement. If you are not sure about your sexuality then say it.

(And by the way, I'm tired of the word "community". Like every LGBT people in the world was a big happy private club with a card member. I'm gay, doesn't mean I have to like every gay guys in the world. I'm not part of any community, it's not a hive mind)

If he doesn’t feel the need to label his sexuality, that’s his business, just like being gay is your business. He maybe hasn’t found which label he identifies with yet, or if he has, he doesn’t owe anyone any answers. He can identify however he feels comfortable and it’s not anyone’s place to invalidate or question that. If he says he’s queer, then he’s queer. No one owes anyone any proof of their sexuality and no one needs to declare to the world what letter of the alphabet mafia they’re aligned to. And while you might be tired of the term community, a lot of us feel that the term is apt. We’re not a hive mind, but a large portion of the community have shared experience, which bonds us.

Here's the thing though.....he owes you fuck all. He owes you nothing. It's his life and he can choose how publicly to express his sexuality. If you need to see him romp with a man in order to take his own statements about his own sexuality seriously then I just feel sorry for you. It shouldn't matter to you this much.

Just respect people's boundaries, how they identify, whom they chose to disclose those identities to and how much they're willing to show of that. Just because Joshua is a public figure doesn't mean he should have to push himself to showcase elements of his sex life he may not be comfortable sharing just to please you and give you the wank fodder you're clearly so pissed you've missed out on.

You guys act like Joshua is reading this thread or get paid to defend him.... weird.....

I love when these responses start coming because you know the person in questions knows they've been proven to be in the wrong. It's not about whether Josh reads it or not, we all know he won't, but about understanding that constantly speculating on someone's sexuality and making underhanded personal comments about them when it doesn't adhere to your own specific desires is gross and wrong.

Yes. I agree. ❤️

That's all they have along with passive aggressive comments and actions. Real winner there.

He really isn't letting go of that Disney leash soon huh. Ughh fine. Lol. As long as we can get some skin off and on.

Pleasantly surprised to see this adaptation will be coming from Disney+ though? The source material is based on a young queer boy who loves Broadway. Not exactly a series I expected them to distribute but still, progress.

Last edited:
new disney series on april 1st hopefully so hot scenes
It's based on a YA novel about a kid in middle school who wants to make it to broadway. Very likely we won't get anything really good, especially since Joshua isn't the main character.
